- Page 3 Fitting Instructions UH9000S / UH9060S / UH9080S WARNING This vehicle is equipped with Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) airbags and seatbelt pretensioners. Before starting work, wait at least 90 seconds after the ignition switch is turned off and the negative (-) battery terminal cable is disconnected.
- Page 4 Fitting Instructions UH9000S / UH9060S / UH9080S REMOVAL Removal - Engine Bay Open the bonnet. Remove the radiator shroud (8 scrivets). Push in the centre of the scrivets and pull up the shroud to remove. Take care to retain all scrivets. Disconnect the (-) negative battery terminal cable.
- Page 5 Fitting Instructions UH9000S / UH9060S / UH9080S Removal - Interior Remove the glovebox. Open the glovebox and remove the (2) stopper pins by rotating 90º and pulling out. Unclip the damper rod. Open the glovebox fully and pull away from the lower retaining clips.
- Page 6 Fitting Instructions UH9000S / UH9060S / UH9080S Remove the (1) xmas tree clip and fold down the passenger’s side footwell carpet. 10. Remove the (1) xmas tree clip and fold down the driver’s side footwell carpet. INSTALLATION Antenna Remove the sleeve, spacer washer, lock washer and nut from the antenna.
- Page 7 Fitting Instructions UH9000S / UH9060S / UH9080S Antenna Cable Pass the antenna cable through the radiator grille opening in the location as shown. Route the antenna cable through the radiator support panel to the existing wiring harness behind the left hand side headlight assembly.
- Page 8 Fitting Instructions UH9000S / UH9060S / UH9080S Alternate antenna cable entry point Remove the grommet from firewall: Drill a 5 mm hole through the centre. b. Refit the grommet to the firewall opening. Pass a lead wire through the cut firewall grommet opening to the passenger’s side footwell.

Power Lead Patch Harness - UH9000S Route the power lead patch harness from the driver’s side footwell, through the centre console to the rear of the power socket located in the centre console.

- Page 11 Fitting Instructions UH9000S / UH9060S / UH9080S Disconnect the power socket connector and dehouse the (2) connector pins from the rear power socket connector [1]. House the (2) removed pins in the free power lead patch harness connector [2]. House the (2) free power lead patch harness pins into the existing power socket connector [3].
- Page 12 Fitting Instructions UH9000S / UH9060S / UH9080S Slide the UHF CB transceiver into the cradle and connect the power lead patch harness. Fit the antenna adapter (supplied) to the antenna cable and connect to the UHF CB transceiver. UH9060S / UH9080S Mount the UHF CB transceiver cradle to the side of the ECU bracket (located behind the glovebox) as shown using the double sided tape provided.
- Page 13 Fitting Instructions UH9000S / UH9060S / UH9080S Connect the power lead patch harness to the UHF CB transceiver. Fit the antenna adapter (supplied) to the antenna cable and connect to the UHF CB transceiver. Connect the speaker microphone extension cable to the UHF CB transceiver and route behind the carpet line, behind the centre console to the driver’s side footwell.
- Page 14 Fitting Instructions UH9000S / UH9060S / UH9080S Speaker Microphone Hanger Using a suitable primer clean the instrument panel at the hanger mounting location. Assemble the (2) halves of the speaker microphone hanger using the (2) nuts and screws supplied. Secure the microphone hanger to the driver’s side lower instrument panel pad sub-assembly in the position shown using the double sided tape provided.
