- Page 5 Fill the kettle with water to the desired level on the Gauge (3) ensuring that it is above the MIN mark and below the MAX mark. • Push the Lid (2) until it clicks fully closed and then place the kettle onto the Base (7).

In extreme hard water areas we highly recommend using filtered water in your kettle to increase the life expectancy and help prevent excessive lime scale build up. • If the kettle switches off before it boils or has a white deposit building up inside then it probably needs to be decalcified.

Electrical Connections This appliance is fitted with a fused three-pin plug to BS 1363. If the plug has to be removed, it should be cut off and carefully disposed of immediately. To avoid a possible shock hazard, do not insert the discarded plug into a mains socket. -
