voltage, correspondingly 6 V would be displayed
as -4 V.
Proceedings: At first the desired reference value is
measured in the suitable range by auto range mode
or manually. Now the "∆REL" key is pressed, the
display jumps to Zero, the following measurements
are displayed as +/- deviations.
Relative measurement with small capacitances
For small capacitor values at first a higher capacitor
is measured and fixed with the "∆REL" key. Now a
smaller capacitor is connected in parallel to the
higher and the difference value is displayed.

Auto Power OFF

The multimeter automatically switches off approx.
30 minutes after the last measurement, there is a
permanent sound.

To start again the rotary switch is set to the OFF po-
sition and is switched on again.

Battery replacement

If the batteries are exhausted, the symbol BAT is
displayed.
To replace the batteries, open the housing as
described before and replace the old batteries with
new ones.

Fuse replacement

If a fuse is burnt, it can be replaced by opening the
multimeter (according to the battery replacement).
Use a fuse 0.5 A/250 V, quick acting. A spare fuse
is clamped near the battery compartment.
