The SYNC™ Wireless ELECTO™ electronic headset is an over-the-head hearing protector with hear

phone and industrial communication radios.
SYNC™ Wireless ELECTO™ combines a high level of noise reduction with sound amplification to
allow workers to be aware of their surroundings, hear warning signals and alerts while still being
protected. This hearing protective headset is provided with level-dependent attenuation. The
wearer should check correct operation before use. If distortion or failure is detected, the wearer
should stop using the product and refer to Honeywell's advice for maintenance and replacement

(B) FITTING INSTRUCTIONS
Extend the headband before use. Place the ear-cups over the outer ear (illustration *B1). Adjust the
headband size by sliding the cups up or down on the headband wire-guide (illustration *B2). The
ear cushions should seal firmly against the head. For best results, remove hair under the cushion
and avoid headgear between the head and cushions. Noise attenuation will be adversely effected
by anything that impairs the seal of the earmuff cushions against the head, such as thick spectacle
frames, headdress, balaclavas, etc.
IMPORTANT USER INSTRUCTIONS
1 The headset should be fitted, adjusted and maintained in accordance with instructions in this
manual.
2 The headset should be worn at all times in noisy surroundings.
3 The headset should be regularly inspected for serviceability.
4 The headset should be cleaned and disinfected with mild soap and warm water (moist cloth).
They must not be dipped into water.
5 WARNING! For earmuffs, noise reduction will be adversely affected by anything that impairs the
seal of the earmuff cushions against the head, such as thick spectacle frames, balaclavas, etc.
6 WARNING! Earmuffs and in particular cushions may deteriorate with use and should be
examined at frequent intervals for signs of wear, for example, cracking or sound leakage.
Replacement cushions are available. For cushion replacement, carefully pull off the old ones
and snap in the new ones. Replacement ear cushions (Hygiene kit) can be ordered through your
Honeywell distributor or at the store where you bought the earmuff.
7 The fitting of hygiene covers to the cushions may affect the attenuation performance of the
earmuffs.
8 Before and after usage, store in a dry place. The temperature should not exceed +55°C (130°F).
9 The product may be adversely affected by certain chemical substances. Further information
should be sought from Honeywell.
10 WARNING! If the above mentioned recommendations are not followed, the protection and
function afforded by the earmuffs may be severely impaired.
