This procedure applies for models that are shipped with WWAN card only.

Insert a paperclip or a SIM card removal tool into the pinhole on the SIM card tray [1].

Push the pin to disengage the lock and eject the SIM card tray [2].

Pull the SIM card tray out of the computer [3].
