Instructions for setting up
Set up the compressor as close to the appliance as possible.
Make sure that the intake air is free from dust, vapour and gas.
Do not operate the compressor in humid or wet rooms.
The compressor may only be operated in well ventilated rooms at an ambient temperature of +5°C to
+40°C.

Assembly and commissioning

Power supply
Before commissioning you must make sure that the mains voltage complies with the operating voltage specified
on the type plate. Long supply lines such as cable drums cause a voltage drop and may prevent the motor from
starting.
On/Off switch (4)
For switching-on, the On/Off switch must be turned to position I.
For switching-off, the On/Off switch must be turned to position 0.
Connecting the pneumatic tool:
Press the nipple of your pneumatic tool into the quick-action coupling. The sleeve automatically moves forward
and locks the tool. .
D
Disconnecting the pneumatic tool:
1. Switch off the compressor and pull the plug.
2. Briefly press the trigger of the pneumatic tool for aeration.
3. Draw back the coupling sleeve and remove the tool.
Attention! When disconnecting the hose coupling, you must keep the coupling element of the hose in
your hand in order to avoid injury caused by the uncontrolled pneumatic hose.
Tyre inflators with manometers
Designated use
The tyre inflators (A) serve to measure the amount of air in tyres, inflate tyres or release air from tyres on
bicycles, cars or motorbikes. Using the attached valve adapters, other inflatable items such as air beds, rubber
dinghies, balls, etc., can be filled with air.
Use
The tyre inflator fulfils three functions: 1. Air measurement 2. Inflation 3. Release of air.
Measurement:
1. Position the valve connection (B) on the tyre valve. Push the lever in a downwards motion to unlock the
clamping mechanism. As soon as you release the lever, the connector clamps itself to the valve. If
necessary, use one of the attached valve adaptors for bicycle tyres.
2. The available air pressure can be read off the manometer either in "bar" (1 bar = 100 kPa) or in "psi".
3. Information provided by your vehicle manufacturer regarding the recommended minimum pressure of
your tyres can be found in your vehicle operating manual or at the door pillar or behind the fuel filler flap,
for example.
Inflation:
1. Connect the quick-action coupling (C) of the tyre inflator to a compressor by using a pneumatic line.
2. Position the valve connector or the necessary valve adaptor on the tyre valve.
3. If you press the operating lever (D) and the compressor is switched on, air will flow into the tyres.
4. Once the operating lever has been released, the manometer will display the actual tyre pressure.
