CLEANING

Humidifier Cradle
The humidifier cradle should be cleaned weekly.
1. Turn off the heater and unplug from power source.
Allow system to cool for at least 10 minutes.
Disconnect tubing.
2. Detach device from cradle; first remove water
chamber then press flow generator release button.
NOTE – Flow generator release button must be
pressed completely to separate.
3. Wipe the cradle with clean damp cloth.

Humidifier Water Chamber
Humidifier water chamber should be cleaned daily.
1. Press chamber release latch
and remove chamber from cradle.
2. Press forward on chamber
disassembly lever and lift the
lid to separate halves. NOTE –
Sealing gasket does not need
to be removed for cleaning.
3. Hand wash in a solution
of warm water and mild
dishwashing detergent (e.g.
Dawn
dishwashing liquid).
®
4. Allow the parts to dry
before reassembly.
5. Place the tabs on the chamber
lid into the slots at the rear of the
chamber base and press front
until it clicks into place.
CAUTION – Do not use solutions that
contain bleach, chlorine, alcohol,
scented oils or other aromatic-based
ingredients to clean the humidifier
components or tubing. These solutions
may reduce the life of the product.
NOTE – In addition to hand washing,
the disassembled chamber may also
be washed once per week in a
dishwasher, top shelf only.
MAINTENANCE
Sealing Gasket
Placement
CAUTION – Inspect the sealing
gasket part # DV6C-614 before
each use to ensure that it is
properly seated under the spokes
and in the groove around the
entire chamber.
1. Reattach sealing gasket if
detached or removed for
cleaning. Ensure it snaps under
the spokes.
