Other problems with syncing

Problem
Your sync is unsuccesful. The
Pylon Sync Log shows the
error:
Pylon has an invalid license
Your sync is unsuccessful. The
Pylon Sync Log shows the
error:
Server not responding
Possible cause/steps to take
If you receive this error message unexpect-
edly (because you had been syncing fine up
until this point), it may indicate one of
three things:
Your Lotus Notes user name has
changed.
Your Pylon license number was
accidentally modified in your Pylon
Configuration database.
Your evaulation license has expired.
If you receive this error and it is not due to
an expired license, do the following:
1. Open Lotus Notes.
2. Confirm your Lotus Notes user name by
clicking File|Tools|User ID|Name.
3. If your Lotus Notes user name is
different from the user name you gave
iAnywhere, see "Technical support"
(page 22) for instructions on how to get
assistance with this problem. iAnywhere
will issue you a new license key.
4. If your Lotus Notes user name matches
the user name you gave iAnywhere,
check to make sure the license number
in your Pylon Configuration database
matches the license number you were
issued by iAnywhere. To open your
configuration database in Lotus Notes,
click File|Database|Open|Pylon
Configuration. Re-enter your license
number, save and close the database,
and try syncing again.
If your Lotus Notes mail file is on a server,
the server may be down. In this case, con-
tact your system administrator to determine
the status of the server.
