Camera
Your device has an infra-red camera (1) and a tablet mode camera (2).
The infra-red camera enables authentication with Microsoft Windows Hello.
The tablet mode camera enables pictures to be taken with the monitor
folded open while the device is in table mode.
Depending on the software you are used, you can use the cameras to record
photos or videos, or to participate in WebChat.
Every camera has its own status display. Each status display only lights up while the camera is active.
The picture quality depends on the lighting conditions and the software being used.
In each case, you can only operate the camera with one application (e.g. an Internet
telephony program or a video-conference program that supports a camera).
When using the camera, the Notebook support must not wobble.
The camera adapts automatically to ambient lighting conditions. For that reason, the LCD
monitor may flicker while it is adjusting to those lighting conditions.
For further information about the use of the camera and other setting options for your
camera, please consult the Help function in the program that the camera is using.
