CAUTION: There may be a voltage difference between TV mains GND
and satellite signal distribution or Cable TV distribution systems' GND. Or
these kinds of voltage differences may appear because of any failure or
changing later on the electricity network. In these cases, depending on the
voltage difference rate, there may occur heating, fire and other serious
damages on TVs and STBs through the socket or cable connections
(SCART, HDMI, RF, RCA etc.). Considering such possibilities, we strongly
recommend you to use Galvanic Isolator* during the system installation
and not remove the isolator.
Note: Applying an isolator causes a little signal loss.
*Equipment connected to the protective grounding of the building through
the mains connection or through the other equipment with a connection to
protective grounding and to a cable distribution system using coaxial
cable, may in some circumstances create a fire hazard.
Connection to a cable distribution system has therefore to be provided
through a device providing electrical isolation below a certain frequency
