Thread 2 o wooden Battens (Studs) through
the apperture and fix loosely on either side
of the hole, level with the cut edge of the hole.
Ensure the battens (studs) are approximately
300mm (11.8") apart.
Allow for approximately 250mm (10") of
mains\ac power & SpeakerLink cable
Slide Rough-in Box into the cavity. Pulling
cables through.
Screw through side slots into the battens (studs).
If necessary loosen screws securing batten (studs)
to ceiling, allowing the battens to pull into position
against the Rough-in Box, rather that the sides of
the Rough-in Box being pulled (apart) to the
battens. Re-tighten or replace screws fastening
batten to ceiling.
Make sure Rough-in Box edge is level to or very
slightly below the surface of the ceiling (1.5mm Max).
The final position of the Grille relative to the Ceiling
is determined by this operation.
NEVER protrude beyond surface
Tighten fixing screws at this point. It is VITAL that the
sides of Rough-in Box remain straight and true and
are not bent or distorted.
