Recording Video/4K Video

Recording mode:
Video and 4K video are recorded in the MP4 format.

• Recording of video appropriate for each video mode
is possible.
• Press the video button briefly.
• If you press the shutter button down fully, you can
take stills while recording video. (Except for in
Creative Video Mode)

To record 4K video, use a UHS Speed Class 3 card.
When you record 4K video, the angle of view will be narrower than video of other sizes.
To ensure highly accurate focus, 4K video is recorded at reduced Auto Focus speeds. It may be
difficult to focus on the subject with Auto Focus, but this is not a malfunction.
With recording in a quiet environment, the sound of aperture, focus and other actions may
be recorded in video. This is not a malfunction.
The focus operation during recording of video can be set to [OFF] in [Continuous AF].
If the ambient temperature is high, or a video is recorded continuously, [
recording may be stopped halfway through. Wait until the camera cools down.
