Safety instructions and
general guidelines
Please read all the information given in these instructions
carefully. It contains important notes on safety, installation/
setting up, use and upkeep of the appliance. Keep these
instructions for use in a safe place and pass them on if
necessary to the next owner.

Dispose of packaging properly.
e
If the appliance is damaged, contact the supplier im-
mediately before connecting it to the power supply.
e
To ensure safe operation, assemble and connect the
appliance only as stated in the instructions for use/instal-
lation/setting up. This should/must only be carried out by
competent personnel.

Use the appliance only for its intended purpose.
e
In the event of malfunction, disconnect the appliance from
the power supply. (Pull out plug, or switch off and/or unscrew
fuse).
e
Do not pull at the connecting cable but at the plug when
disconnecting the appliance from the power supply.
• Repairs and work on the appliance are to be carried out
only by qualified persons/the after-sales service.
Malfunctions which can be rectified by the owner are
described in the "Faults" section of the operation instruc-
tions.

Should this appliance with magnefic door lock be used as
a replacement for older equipment, remove or make inoper-
able the spring catch or bolt catch of the appliance no longer
in use, so that the children cannot lock themselves inside and
suffocate.
e
Appliances no longer in use should be properly and cor-
rectly disposed of.
This appliance is intended for domestic use. If it is used for
trade purpose, please note the regulations valid for your
trade sector.
Setting up
Avoid positioning the appliance in direct sunlight or near
cookers, heaters and the like.
Poorly ventilated rooms are also unsuitable.
The floor should be flat and level, or irregularities com-
pensated for. Ensure that there is a good supply of air to the
appliance and also adequate ventilation.
