Shorten the woofer cable (minimum 1.5 mm²) according to the required length from the woofer to the
screwed connections of the crossover and remove the insulation on both ends. Push the insulating
sleeve (+) over the conductor with the black label and insulating sleeve (-) over the remaining conductor.
Attach insulating sleeves to both ends of the cable and solder them to the gable connections.
Attention: Should cables with larger cross-sections than 1.5 mm² be used for the installation, these
must be used with the corresponding cable lugs in accordance with DIN 46244. Soldering the
cable to the screw connections is not permitted. Due to the soldering warmth, the locations of
the screw connections are loosened. Problems arising through loose contacts would be
unavoidable.
In general, keep the loudspeaker cable short and lay it in such a way that it can be laid separate from the
cables of the board electronics. Interferences from the generator and the board electronics can thus be
avoided. The loudspeaker cables can be twisted together, which also counteracts the interference.
Rolling together the extra lengths of speaker cable is not practical since this can increase the
interference again.

The components should be freed of dirt in regular intervals since the prevailing conditions in the vehicle
can become dirty very quickly and can have negative effects on the material. For this purpose, use a
soft, slightly damp cloth and then rub it lightly with a clean, dry cloth. Never use solvent or biological
cleansing agents under any circumstance.
