16. The subwoofer is either screwed or adhered into the housing, depending on the model. In order
to use the housing for the subwoofers to be installed, the existing subwoofer must be removed
from the subwoofer housing.
17. When installing the IL-S8F subwoofer, the existing fastening positions are used if the OEM
subwoofer was screwed. If the OEM subwoofer was glued, the screw positions are drilled with a
3.3 mm drill.
18. Prior to re-inserting the subwoofer housing, the foam must be removed from the bottom of the
carpet, which is lying over the chassis.
19. Insert the subwoofer with housing, establish a plug connection and replace the removed speaker
cover.
20. Perform a function test prior to assembly.
