The PM 20 tester left the factory in faultless condition. In order to maintain this condition and
to ensure safe operation, the user has to observe all notes and warnings contained in these
operating instructions.
Tests using the PM 20 tester may only be carried out by instructed electricians, who are familiar
with applicable safety regulations (DIN VDE 0104).
Any surge protective device to be tested is to be removed from the system and has to be volt-
free, even if they are tested without test adapter.
