The LB5155D series provide a thermoelectric cooled DFB laser with optical isolation on the input and output for stable, low noise operation. Auto output power stability control (APC) and auto temperature control (ATC) are standard features. -

You then can use the Menu buttons to navigate through the different menus. There are 6 menus that you can use to monitor the EDFA parameters, and adjust some parameters. -

LB5155D Series User Manual WEB MANAGEMENT & SERIAL COMMUNICATION RJ4-5 port & RS-232 both can be used to monitor the LB5155D parameters and adjust output levels. For serial communication, the computer should be equipped with Window XP to operate Hyper Terminal.
