B. Be prepared to explain the operation of the AC-
stabilized circuit, and the procedure called out
in the Type 63 manual (070-266) for setting
DC balance. With a shileded lead and good DC
balance (save the balancing and DC-coupling
demo until after a few minutes' warm-up), a
waveform like Fig. 3 at 1 mv /cm will be easy
as pie.
