Installation

Caution – risk of injury!
• If installation, removal or maintenance work is not carried out correctly, there is a risk of injuries at the connection
points, if pressurised water suddenly escapes.
– Ensure proper installation, removal or maintenance work.
– Ensure that the system is de-pressurised before performing installation, removal or maintenance work at the
connection points.
Caution – Risk of injury due to falls or bumps!
• Bruising from falls or bumps at system components during installation.
– Wear personal protective equipment (helmet, protective clothing, gloves, safety boots).
Note the following for installation:
• Comply with the local installation regulations.
• Ensure easy access at the location of installation.
– Protected from flooding and frost.
• Always install the fitting downstream of a system isolator.
• Ensure the correct direction of flow through the components.
– The arrow markings on the components indicate the correct direction of flow.
• Ensure the correct position of the fitting within the make-up line.
– Horizontal position of the filter head.
– Vertical position of the filter housing.
• Use Teflon tape to seal the thread connection when flat gaskets are not intended.
• If necessary, use the supplied bracket to support the fitting.
– Ensure a stress-free installation of the fitting.
