    INTRODUCTION (Continued) Interfacing The Model 40 terminals and units have three basic types of electrical interface: EIA - Electronic Industries Association Standard RS-232-C � PTI - Parallel Terminal Interface SSI - Standard Serial Interface In this manual the EIA terminals are considered to interface with Bell System 202 data sets equipped with dial and ringer forming a terminal used in switched network applications.
