DVD REAR SEAT ENTERTAINMENT
The Rear Seat Entertainment System
includes a DVD player as part of the
front radio, a flip-down video screen,
audio/video jacks, two wireless
headphones, and a remote control.
To play a DVD video, do the
following:
1. Turn the ignition to the on or
accessory position.
2. To view the video display, push
forward on the release latch to
allow the video screen to fold
down.
3. Insert the video DVD part-way
into the slot. The player will pull
it in the rest of the way.
The video screen will turn on
and the DVD will begin playing
automatically. If the DVD stops
at a menu screen, it may be nec-
essary to press the Play push-
button on the radio or on the
remote control to start playing
the video.
Note:
The entertainment system's infra-
red transmitter/receiver window
for the wireless headphones and
the remote control is located near
the video screen.
To use the remote control, aim it
at the infrared window and press
the desired button.
4. To hear the audio output
through the vehicle's speakers,
the front, main radio must also
be on and the auxiliary source
must be active.
Adjust the volume level for the
speakers using the main radio
controls.
To listen to the DVD through the
headphones, select channel 1
and push the power button on
the headphones.
Each set of headphones has a
volume knob.
Rotate the volume knob to in-
crease or decrease the volume.
5. To control DVD playback, use
the remote control or use the
front radio push-buttons.
ENTERTAINMENT
PARENTAL CONTROL FEATURE
Parental Control can help gain the
attention of rear passengers by stop-
ping all Rear Seat Entertainment
System features.
Press and hold
on the front,
main radio for at least two seconds
to turn this feature on.
The radio, the Rear Seat Audio
System and the video screen will
turn off. CD or DVD play will stop.
Press
to turn the radio back on.
The radio will operate normally.
