CLEANING THE TOP
The excrement of the birds must be
washed right away because the acids
may damage the fabric and compromise
waterproofing.
Normal dirt
Use a soft brush or a suitable sponge
to clean the vehicle with clean water
brushing in the direction of the pattern
towards the back side of the vehicle.
Then rinse with clean water and let it
dry in open air. The top should never be
dried with leather or other similar cloths.
Stains/dirt
Use a product for fabrics or liquid hand
soap with clean water rubbing in the di-
rection of the pattern towards the back
side of the vehicle.

Recommendations
❒ Do not wash the top with strong
pressurized water jets.
❒ Do not use petroleum, alcohol or oth-
er solvents to clean the fabric.
❒ Do not remove snow or ice with
sharp tools (i.e instruments used to
remove ice from the windows).
❒ Wait until the fabric of the top is
completely dry before putting it in
the relevant compartment in order
to avoid stains.
❒ Do not wash the vehicle in an auto-
matic car wash with brushes.
TOP OPENING/CLOSING
Warnings
Strictly comply with the following in-
structions:
❒ Move the top only with the car sta-
tionary, the top cannot be opened/
closed with the car moving (the dis-
play will however show a warning
message + symbol). Accidental at-
tempt to open/close the top with
the car moving will be automatical-
ly aborted.
❒ If you start to operate the top with
the car stationary and then you
move off the car, it will be possible
to complete the opening/closing cy-
cle only if you stop the car again.
