3.2.2 External wiring, outside pump
1. Fit the cable with a bush and an adapter for NPT
thread, typically 3/4".
2. Push the sensor into the oil chamber through the
filling hole and screw the bush into the thread. Do
not tighten the bush until the sensor is positioned
correctly in the pump.
3. Insert the sensor so far into the chamber that it is
completely submerged in the oil.
The product must not touch rotating parts.
Ensure proper earth connection between
the screen of the cable and the control
cabinet.
3.2.3 EMC-correct installation
In the case of pumps with frequency converter it is
especially important to ensure an EMC-correct
installation.
The following rules must therefore be observed:
The cable screen must be connected to earth.
Screen ends must not be twisted as this will
destroy the screen effect at high frequencies.
Use cable clamps as shown in fig. 2.
It is important to ensure a good electric contact
from the mounting plate through the mounting
screws to the metal cabinet of the frequency
converter.
Use toothed washers and a galvanically
conducting mounting plate.
Note the insulating plastic
layer between screen and
sheath.

3.3 Electrical connections

Carry out the electrical connections according to
local regulations.
The conductors must be connected as shown in figs
2
and 3.
+ equals brown.
- equals white.

R
is the internal resistance of the connected
load
device, for instance IO 113.
The maximum load resistance plus the conductor
resistance can be calculated as follows:
