• Weed disposal is most effective during the growing season.
• The best time for disposal is spring.
• Disposal has the greatest effect on young plants. It does not have to be obvious right away that it was successful. The
visible part of the plant may burn during extended exposure.
• For effective action and disposal, hold the nozzle about 0 to 5 cm above the weed for about 5 seconds. During this
short time, the cell structure will be destroyed and, as a result, weeds will die within a few days.
• It is not necessary to completely burn the plant.
• Plants do not respond immediately to thermal radiation during the recommended exposure time.
• Young plants with soft leaves are the most sensitive to the process and will not survive.
• Older plants with hard leaves, such as thistles, have to be exposed to the heat several times with intervals of one to
two weeks to dry out.
• Still green plant species are very durable and require more care.
• You must treat the overgrown areas several times at short intervals to ensure long-term effects. Then take care at
longer intervals.
• Some weeds need to be exposed to heat repeatedly.
