2. Ensure the locking T-handle is fully opened, V-notch spread apart, by turning T-Handle counter clockwise. WARNING: Be aware of the potential pinch hazard where the adjusting tube and upright tube meet when they are slid together. Note: You May have to rotate the Safety Lock until it lines up with the holes in the adjusting shaft in order for the Lock Pin to engage with a Hole in the Adjusting shaft. 10.
