9 Copy and remove content

If you buy a new phone, or otherwise want to dispose of or recycle your phone, here's how you

can remove your personal info and content. Note that it is your responsibility to remove all

private content.

Remove content from your phone

When removing private content from your phone, pay attention to whether you are removing

content from the phone memory or the SIM card.

To remove messages, select Menu > �. Select a message thread and Options >

Delete conversation .

To remove contacts, select Menu > � > Options > Delete contacts , mark the contacts you

want to remove and select Done > Delete .

To remove your call info, select Menu > � > Clear call log .

Check that all your personal content has been removed.

Reset your phone

You can restore the original factory settings, but be careful, since this reset removes all data

you have saved in the phone memory and all your personalization.

If you are disposing your phone, note that you are responsible of removing all private content.

1. Select Menu > � > Rest. factory sett. .

2. Enter the security code. There is no more confirmation after you select OK . The phone is

reset and all data is removed.
