Set up your ADSL
Broadband connection
If you have an nbn™ connection
then go to step 4.
Connect one end of the grey telephone
cable directly into your telephone wall
socket, and the other end into the grey
DSL port on your Origin Home Gateway.

from any computer store) to ensure your
service works correctly. Please note this is
only for ADSL connections.

Connect one end of the grey telephone
cable into the DSL port of the ADSL filter
and the other end into the DSL port of
your Origin Home Gateway. Connect
the other grey telephone cable into the
Line port of the filter and the other end
into your telephone wall socket. Finally,
connect your existing home phone cable
into the Phone port of the filter.

Powering on your
Origin Home Gateway
Switch on the Origin Home Gateway by
pressing the power button on the side.
Your gateway will now automatically
setup - there is no need for you to
configure anything. This process can take
up to 20 minutes to complete, so please
be patient.
The Internet light will turn solid green
once the setup is complete.
When your Origin Broadband service is in
use the Internet light will flash green.
Having trouble connecting?
Read our troubleshooting tips after
step 8 if the Internet light does not
turn green.
