Descending an obstacle When descending an obstacle on your own, do so by going in a forwards motion. By first rolling the front wheels onto the lower part and braking lightly, you can carefully descend the obstacle yourself as well. After both the rollator and yourself have fully descended from the obstacle, you can let go of the brake and continue walking with the rollator.
