too high environmental temperatures,
usage near function generators, strong magnetic fields (loud-
speakers), electromagnetic fields (motors, transformers, relays)
and electrostatic fields (charge/discharge). All above named
points could cause instable display or substantial measuring
errors.
Attention!
Before you change the measuring range, separate the measu-
ring unit/module from the measuring and supply circuit (battery).
4.2 Fixing the Decimal Point
The connection/fixing of the respective decimal points depends
on the respective measuring unit and the measuring ranges. If
the panel meter is mainly used to measure different DC currents
(0.2 V, 2 V, 20 V, 200 V) the decimal point can be switched by
means of a step switch. However if voltage in only one range is
measured (e.g. as built-in panel meter in a power supply) the
respective decimal point is fixed by an insulated bridge between
4.3 DC Voltage Measurement (VDC) and DC Current
Measurement (ADC) with a Switchable Voltage
Divider
Attention!
of the voltage divider, the limits are ZOOmVDC, 2 VDC, 20 VDC
or (max.) 200 VDC or for the amperage range 0.2 mA, ZmA, 20 mA,
200 mA, 2000 mA.
