The value determined by a reference measuring instrument is set
with the trimmer at the panel meter (probably covered) that the
panel meter shows the same value as the ,,reference unit". In the
respective measuring range (observe wiring and safety rules), 2 V
or 20 V or 200 V adjustment is made at 60% of the measuring
range (e.g. 20 V measuring range at approx. 12.5 VDC). The basic
measuring range of 200 mV has been adjusted ex factory.
