Batteries (2×AAA) must be installed before operation. The IR Remote is set at the factory to control the NVR (using default Device ID# 255) without any additional steps.

Before you start: Check that the voltage of the extra power supply is the same with the NVR’s requirement, and the ground connection is working properly.

And we recommend you reset your password regularly, especially in the high security system, resetting the password monthly or weekly can better protect your product.
