PLANER SETUP SAFETY FIRST!! READ AND UNDERSTAND THE SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS (pages 2-4 of this manual) BEFORE BEGINNING ANY PLANER SETUP Setting planer depth: Turn the depth jack (located on the front of the planer) to adjust planing depth. A depth indicator decal is located on the left side of the chassis. Setting planer sideshift: To sideshift the planer, actuate the diverter valve (LAF4699).
