OPERATION Starting a Cut: To begin a cut, adjust the depth cylinders to the desired depth with the planer slightly above the ground. Engage the hydraulic system to start the drum. Lower the planer bringing the front wheels onto the ground. Continue lowering the planer until the rear wheels are on the ground and the drum is milling the material.
