Shift Keys and Shift Lock

LOCK)
Use t he shift and shift lock keys (SHIFT and LOCK) t o
type uppercase characters.
To t ype uppercase characters :
Press and hold down either t he left o r right
shift key (SHIFT) w hile you type the character(s)
yo u w ant.
To keep the t ypewriter in uppercase:
Press t he shift lock key (LOCK) to type several
uppercase characters wit hout pressing t he sh ift key
(SHIFT) each time.
To relea se the shift lock:
Press either t he left o r right shift key (SHI FT).
