8. Placing the clear water pump

• Attach a sufficiently strong, waterproof rope to the carrying handle (1) to secure the clear water pump, for example,
to lower it into a well. Ensure that the maximum immersion depth is 7 m.
• Regularly check the rope for secure attachment, as well as for wear or breaking points. Replace the rope if
necessary.
The clear water pump must never be held or fastened by the mains cable or the float switch! Otherwise the
mains cable may get damaged, risk of an electric shock! The clear water pump must also not be attached
using the hose.
