ADF - MAINTENANCE PRACTICES
1. General
A.
The KR87 ADF receiver is installed in the avionics panel radio rack. The ADF antenna is installed on
bottom of the cabin, along the centerline of the airplane.
2. ADF Removal/Installation
A. Remove ADF (Refer to Figure 201).
(1) Loosen single locking screw located in recessed hole on face of receiver.
(2) Pull ADF from radio rack.
B.
Install ADF (Refer to Figure 201).
(1)
Place ADF in radio rack and slide forward, engaging fixed electrical plug.
(2)
Tighten single locking screw located in recessed hole on face of receiver.

ADF Antenna Removal/Installation
A. Remove ADF Antenna (Refer to Figure 201 ).
(1) Remove screws securing ADF antenna to fuselage skin.
(2) Disconnect antenna connector from ADF antenna.
(3)
Remove antenna and gasket.
B.
Install ADF Antenna (Refer to Figure 201).
(1) Connect antenna connector to ADF antenna.
(2) Secure ADF antenna to fuselage skin with screws.
