Pintucks with Three-Thread Rolled Hem
Traditionally, Pintucks are sewn with a twin needle on a conventional
sewing machine. However, beautiful Pintucks can be achieved with the
Quantumlock's rolled hem. They can be made with either a two-thread or
a three-thread rolled hem. Pintucking enhances a yoke, heirloom sewing,
wearable art and even home decorating projects.
Example:
Creating a pintucked yoke for a nightgown.
Directions:
Place standard overlock thread in the needle and both loopers. Fold fabric
lengthwise wrong sides together. Sew along the edge. Press the pintuck to one side. Re-
peat "folding, sewing and pressing" procedure until several rows are formed.
