Three-Thread Overedge Stitch with Pearl/Sequins Foot
The optional Pearl/Sequin Foot is designed to sew a strand of beads,
pearls or sequins with ease. It also can be used to add braids or cords.
Because the foot holds the strand of pearls or trim in place, it is simple to
apply these strands and finish the edge in one operation.
Example:
An exquisite pearl edge finish to an evening handbag.
Directions:
Use the Bead/Sequin foot. Place standard overlock thread in the needle and
loopers. Place the strand of pearls through the foot's front guide and pull under the
groove at the back of the foot. Place single layer of fabric under the foot and sew.
