➤ Check the contacts, the cover and the connection cable for damage.
➤ First connect the connection cable to the socket on the vehicle.
➤ Connect the connection cable to the power supply socket.
➤ Switch on the refrigeration system at the control unit.
✓ The stationary cooling switches on automatically.
Switching off the stationary cooling
To switch off the stationary cooling, proceed as follows:
➤ First disconnect the connection cable from the power supply socket.
➤ Disconnect the connection cable from the socket on the vehicle.
✓ The stationary cooling automatically turns off.
➤ Check the contacts, the cover and the connection cable for damage.

Notes on use

Conduct regular visual inspections to ensure the full functioning of the refrigera-
tion system, chapter "Regular visual inspections" on page 16.

NOTE
If the cargo space doors are opened frequently, heat and moisture will
enter the cooling area. This can cause ice to form on the refrigeration sys-
tem which reduces the cooling capacity. Therefore, open the doors as little
and as briefly as possible.
Avoid extended empty runs when the refrigeration system is activated.
Regularly check proper function of the cargo space doors.
Problem-free door seals and functioning door locks contribute to high
transport safety. Therefore, regularly check the bodywork in your vehicle's
cargo space for damage. Even minor damage can cause the refrigerated
items to not be adequately cooled, especially at high ambient tempera-
tures.

Switch off the vehicle engine when you are loading or unloading the vehi-
cle.
Refer to the vehicle manufacturer's specifications for the maximum load
(payload).
