    Safety information Safety information Intended use The phone is connected by an installer. Do not change the installation, otherwise the phone no longer works. Shock hazard Never try to unscrew the screws and open the device. DANGER You could get in contact with current-carrying parts. Never touch the connector contacts with pointed or metallic objects.
  • Page 7 Emergency radio pendant Variant „L-Phone II-f “ only. Use only approved pendants/transmitters. The pendant is protected against water jets. A longer immersion in water can damage the transmitter.
  • Page 8 Safety information The cord has been developed and designed to break when exposed to extra ordinary high mechanical load. Despite of this, a risk of injury cannot be completely ex- cluded. It is recommended to wear the radio pendant around the wrist when helping laid up persons. Only use an original cord to replace a faulty one.

    Telephoning Telephoning Taking a call Your phone rings. Pick-up the handset. Before accepting the call At first „Call“ appears in the display, after this the caller‘s name, if it is stored in the phonebook or is transferred from the telephone system. If no name is present, so the number is shown if it has been transmitted. The flashlight flashes while the phone is ringing (if the function is turned on).

    Telephoning Alternatives You can also lift the handset and dial the number. A cor- rection of the number is not possible. You can dial on hook (see next section). On-Hook-Dialling You do not need to pick-up the handset in order to start the dialling proc- ess.

    Telephoning You call a subscriber: Dial the telephone number. Press key. The hands-free mode is activated and the telephone number is dialled. End conversation. Press key. The line is discon- nected. Continue the call via handset You can finish hands-free operation by picking up the hand- set. Switching between handset and hands-free operation You are holding a telephone conversation and now intend to switch from the handset to the hands-free mode.

    Telephoning Call acceptance via radio pendant Variant „L-Phone II-f“ only. You can accept and finish an incoming call via an registered radio pen- dant. If your telephone rings, press the button of the pendant. The phone switches info hands-free mode. For finishing the call, press the button of the pendant again. The phone disengages the line automatically.

You can dial each number with one keystroke. Speed dialling key 1 the upper key, speed dialling key 2 is the key below it etc.

    4.4. Emergency call via radio pendant The variant “L-Phone II-f” comprises a radio transmitter (pendant) which can be used to send emergency radio calls. The radio pendant can be worn with a strap like a wristwatch or around the neck with a cord.
