Do not use if the appliance, the mains adapter or the mains cable is visibly damaged or if the appliance has been dropped. Appliances connected to the mains during a thunderstorm may sustain damage. Therefore, always disconnect the mains plug if there is a thunderstorm.

8. Installation and initial use Remove all packaging materials. Before the first and each subsequent use, clean all loose parts (lid (14) and splash guard (4), stirrer (13) and accessories), as well as the aluminium container (12) in the appliance with a soft cloth and standard washing-up liquid.

Select the desired preparation option by pressing the button (16) or the button (17). Once pressed, the corresponding button lights up green. The ice-cream maker will not work if the lid is not properly attached. The buttons on the appliance remain lit, but the motor locks so the stirrer will not turn.
