PRIMING THE IRRIGATION PUMP
Access reservoir (Fig. 1)
1.
If present, remove the bottom grow tray
2.
Slide out drawer to access the reservoir
Fill reservoir

Make sure that the unit has been connected to the water and power
according to local codes
2.
From the HOME screen, press SET UP, SET RESERVOIR, AUTO ON, FILL
3.
Wait until the reservoir is full with water. Monitor the filling of the res-
ervoir to assure proper fill.

Access the priming valve near the irrigation pump. It should be in the OPEN position and
water should be flowing downwards into the reservoir
2.
From the HOME screen, choose ZONE 2 (A). This will be the growing zone that is directly
above the pump. Press WATER NOW (B).

Open (1/4 clockwise turn) and wait for steady stream of water to come out of the priming
valve (Fig 3); once you have a steady stream of water, close the valve (Fig 4).

Water should now be flowing steadily from the irrigation nozzle in the zone selected in
step 2 (Fig. 5). Press WATER NOW (B) to turn off the watering cycle for that zone. Leave
the priming valve in the CLOSED position.
Your pump is now primed.
