Edit menu table

The following table provides a quick guide to the various editing functions that you can perform using the Edit Menu.
To access the Edit Menu
Press MENU/NO to display "Edit Menu."

While the deck is stopped, press MENU/NO twice to display "Setup Menu."

Edit menu table/Setup menu table
Function
Names a track or an MD.
Copies a name to a track or an MD.
Erases a name.
Erases all the names on an MD.
Erases a track.
Moves a track.
Combines tracks.
Divides a track.
Erases a portion of a track.
Erases all the tracks on an MD.
Undoes the last edit operation.
Changes the overall recorded level after recording.
Records over a track using Fade-in Recording.
Records over a track using Fade-out Recording.
Enters Setup Menu (below) directly.
Function
Creates a program.
Turns Automatic Track Marking on or off.
Changes the trigger level for Automatic Track
Marking.
Turns Auto Space and Auto Pause on or off.
Turns Smart Space and Auto Cut on or off.
Turns Peak Hold on or off.
Sets the duration of Fade-in Play and Recording.
Sets the duration of Fade-out Play and Recording.
Changes the playing speed by auto steps.
Fine controls the playing speed.
Adjusts the analog signal level input through the
ANALOG IN jacks.
Adjusts the digital signal level input through the
DIGITAL OPTICAL IN1 connector or DIGITAL
COAXIAL IN jack.
