NETWORK CONNECTION Installation 1. Prep a fiber optic patch cord for installation into the SFP Port, by cleaning with a lint free wipe, and inspecting the end face for cleanliness. 2. Plug the fiber patch cord into the SFP port, an audible “click” sound should be heard. The fiber connections must be matched: transmit socket to receive socket. 4.
