    5. The cable between the converter and the link partner (converter, switch, hub, workstation, etc.) must be less than 100 meters (328 ft.) long. Fiber segment using multi-mode connector type must use 50 or 62.5/125μm multi-mode fiber. User can connect two devices up to 550M distance.     NETWORK CONNECTION Installation 1. Prep a fiber optic patch cord for installation into the SFP Port, by cleaning with a lint free wipe, and inspecting the end face for cleanliness. 2.   • Page 17 NETWORK CONNECTION Installation 3. Plug the fiber patch cord into the SFP port, an audible “click” sound should be heard. The fiber connections must be matched: transmit socket to receive socket. 4. Attach a UTP copper patch cable from the TP network device to the RJ45 port on the Converter.
