The EarthQuake VICTORY 29409 unit may not fire or show signs of combustion due to several possible reasons based on the manual:
1. Fuel Issues: The fuel tank may be empty, contain old or stale fuel, or the fuel system may be gummed up if not properly drained or treated with fuel stabilizer before storage.
2. Engine Oil Level: The engine may not have enough oil, or the oil level is too low. The crankcase oil should be filled to the bottom of the oil fill plug opening.
3. Spark Plug: The spark plug may be dirty, worn, or not functioning. It should be serviced yearly or every 50 hours of use.
4. Safety Switch Position: The ON/OFF switch may be in the OFF position, preventing ignition.
5. Air Cleaner: A dirty or clogged air cleaner can restrict airflow and prevent combustion.
6. Loose Parts: Loose nuts or bolts could affect engine operation.
7. Improper Modifications: If the engine has been altered from the factory settings, it may not operate properly and could be unsafe.
Checking and resolving these issues may help restore proper ignition and combustion.
