Culivator is a little over 3 yrs old (12/21) Perhaps 5 hours of small garden use
Good engine power but poor tine performance.
Tines work best at medium engine power but slow or stop at higher power

Poor tine performance in an EarthQuake MC33 cultivator with low usage hours could be caused by several factors:
1. Loose or Missing Fasteners – Ensure that all screws, nuts, and bolts are tight. 2. Debris Build-Up – Check and remove any debris around the tines, air cleaner holes, and gas cap. 3. Improper Tine Installation – Verify that the tines are correctly installed and secured with hairpins. 4. Low Grease Level – Check the transmission case grease level and add molylithium type grease if necessary. 5. Fuel Issues – Ensure the correct fuel mixture (50:1 gas-to-oil ratio) and that the fuel tank is not overfilled. 6. Spark Plug Issues – Inspect and clean the spark plug area or replace the spark plug if needed.
If none of these resolve the issue, further inspection of internal components may be required.
