Upgrade

You can use the Mobile Upgrade tool or FOTA Upgrade tool to update your tablet's
software.
11.12.1 Mobile Upgrade
Download Mobile Upgrade from alcatel website (www.alcatel-mobile.com) and install
it on your PC. Launch the tool and update your device by following the step by step
instructions (refer to the User Guide provided together with the tool). Your device's
software will now have the latest software.
All personal information will be permanently lost following the update
process. We recommend you back up your personal data using Smart Suite
before upgrading.
11.12.2 FOTA Upgrade
Use the FOTA (Firmware Over The Air) Upgrade tool to update your device's
software. To access Updates, touch Settings> System > updates.
Touch and the device will search for the latest software. If you want to update
the system, touch the
upgrade. Now your tablet will have the latest version of the software. You should turn
on data connection or Wi-Fi before searching for updates. Settings for auto-check
frequency are also available once you restart the device. If you have chosen auto-
check, when the system discovers the new version, a dialog will pop up to choose
download or ignore, the notification will also appear in status bar.
During FOTA downloading or updating, to avoid errors in locating the correct update
packages, do not change your default storage location.
