To program a track or file by using
OPERATION DIAL

Perform step 1 to 3 of "Creating
your own program".

For audio files only
Turn OPERATION DIAL to select
the folder you want, then press
ENTER.

Turn OPERATION DIAL to select
the track or file you want.

Press ENTER.
The program step number appear in the
display.

• The program list is cleared when you eject the
disc.

• The program list is cleared when you:
– perform the erase operation.
– remove the USB device from the

Tips
• The program you made remains in the
system's memory even after it has been
played back. Press N to play back the same
program again.
• If "--.--" appears instead of the total playing
time during programming, this means:
– the total playing time has exceeded 100
minutes.
– you have programmed an audio file.
– the current disc is DATA-CD or USB.

Presetting radio
stations
You can preset your favorite radio
stations and tune them in instantly by
selecting the corresponding preset
number.
Use the buttons on the remote for this
operation.

Tune in the station you want
(see "Listening to the radio"
(page 19)).

Press TUNER MEMORY.
A preset number flashes in the display.
The stations are stored from preset
number 1.

Press +/– repeatedly to select
the preset number you want.
If another station is already assigned to
the selected preset number, the station
is replaced by the new station.

Press ENTER (RM-AMU053) or
(RM-AMU054).
"COMPLETE" appears in the display.
The station is stored.

Repeat steps 1 through 4 to
store other stations.
You can preset up to 20 FM and
10 AM stations.

To call up a preset radio station,
press TUNING MODE repeatedly
until "PRESET" lights up in the
display, and then press +/–
repeatedly to select the preset
number you want.
