Description
8G/16G FC autonegotiation and full duplex
l Works in native FC switching mode and
transparent transmission mode (referred to as
Access Gateway mode by Brocade) as the
NPV module. NPV is short for N-Port
virtualization.
l Supports free mapping to internal FC ports
and external FC ports in NPV mode.
l Supports network connection between E_Ports
and Brocade FC switches in FC switching
mode. A license is required for the function.
A physical port supports multiple virtual N_Port
IDs.
FC port link aggregation expands the port
bandwidth and provides redundancy.
l Supports connection only to Brocade FC
switches.
l Requires a license.
