Set the radio to communicate at 147.480 MHz simplex
0. Turn on the radio and make sure it's unlocked
(press and hold SET to unlock)
1. Press the right M AIN to select the right
transceiver
2. If the right display is in M emory mode, press
the right V/M Hz to enter VFO m ode
3. Press the right V/M Hz to select tens of M Hz,
then turn the right big knob so that the right

4. Press the right V/M Hz to select M Hz, then turn
the right big knob so that the right display

5. Press the right V/M Hz to select kHz, then turn
the right big knob so that the right display

6. Select the desired power level by pressing
LOW repeatedly
7. Press and hold the right M /CALL until you
hear a single beep
8. Turn the right big knob until the right display
